I&#8217;ve had average-of-5 runs in the low 40s.  Today, another generic 42-second solve and I thought to myself, &#8220;This is it&#8230;&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/slateman.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/3x3-record-31.98.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/slateman.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/3x3-record-31.98.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"3x3-record-31.98\" width=\"336\" height=\"130\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1027\" srcset=\"https:\/\/slateman.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/3x3-record-31.98.png 336w, https:\/\/slateman.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/3x3-record-31.98-300x116.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 336px) 100vw, 336px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The cross was a lucky shot and my second layer just flowed perfectly.  My last-layer solve was better-than-average but skipping my last step probably helped me achieve this mind-blowing 31.98 second solve!!!  *ahem* HOLY SHIT!  Oh Yeah!
