Written on the rocks by the lake in Maine, this was written with one person in mind. Every day I'd sit outside, alone, thinking of her, staring back at the shore. It's pretty basic, and nowadays I play it w/ a faster style, but the way this is done reminds me of that summer. I recorded this after returning, using my Ovation electric-acoustic. The timing is slightly off, a typical problem of my earlier recordings. While this annoys me, it's cool otherwise!
