Mercurial Demo #1 (March 2004)Mercurial's first demo was recorded in the spring of 2004. We had chosen four songs but one got switched at the last minute. That's Time. I hate that friggin' song. The songs were set to be recorded in the tuning of D but Tom was tuned to E flat, so that's what it is. It's great production but I never felt much passion about the music. At Sea is a phenomenal ballad and has deep sentimental feelings. Any More is a great sounding song that varies in style and gets awfully heavy towards the end. Finally, Undone is our heavy song, straightforward and excellent. These songs feature Tom (Guitar), Lee (Vocals), Doug (Drums, also in SMJ) and Mat (Bass, also in SMJ)
