Ok, here is the master list of ships in R-Type Final.

All Unlock details were figured out and written up by daimaou mike in his fantastic FAQ over at GameFAQs. I take absolutely no credit for that whatsoever! These were based on the Korean or Japanese version and after much testing it seems as if they work for the US version as well.

Here's how you read the Unlockable charts (in blue below).

Time - This is minutes of game time
With - Which ship you must use to unlock
Have - You need to have this ship (but not use it) to unlock
Etc. - Additional notes and requirements.

For instance, Ship 26 goes as follows: Time = 30 / With = 25 / Have = 32

In order to unlock ship #26 you must fly for 30 minutes with ship #25 while having ship #32 available.

Some ships just need air time. Ship #41 just needs 540 minutes of game time, regardless of which ship you use. Ship #06 requires 60 minutes of time having ship #05. The 60 minutes begin once you unlock #05.

Passwords are listed with the US version first, then Korean/Japanese code second.
