What follows is my attempt to archive every time I saw Phish live and the experience that went with it. Currently at 24 shows, this is a lot of information to mull over, so in short, this is all under massive construction. Total Phish Shows: 24 (My Stats)
Quick Links: WIP!!! After the lengthy hiatus, the band returned for a NYE run (which I missed) and a winter tour in February. Couldn't get tickets for NY but I was able to get into the NJ and Worcester shows.
Moved from Albany on the 31st of August, went back up less than 10 days later to see Phish twice. Stayed with Terry and Tyler for 2 nights. We missed the summer tour completely and skimped on prior tours due to money issues so we were glad to get 2 shows in. The band went on hiatus after this tour, and it would be 2 1/2 years until we saw them again.
NYE2K - Left South Carolina (?) 8am. Arrived on Alligator Alley at 11pm (15 hours), sat in traffic until 10am following morning for a total of 26 hours in all. 11 hours of traffic.
Once again, we couldn't afford much and so we only attended one of the two Albany shows. Can't recall much right now about this show at all actually...
Only could afford to go to the Oswego festival, but had a blast and got the worst sunburn in my life!
Didn't pay our phone bill to go to these shows. Slept in car in Worcester for 2 nights. Wouldn't do this again, but glad I did!
One of the best weekends of my life and my first Phish festival. Easily one of the most memorable experiences...
98 Spring Tour (The Island Tour) 4 quick dates, 2 on Long Island, 2 in Rhode Island. These 2 dates (specifically April 3rd) were what truly got me into the band. The 35-minute Roses are Free still is one of my favorites of all-time. The crowd excitement was incredible and all 4 shows from this tour were actually outstanding.
My first show didn't go so great...but I guess it went well enough for me to go to another, so it couldn't have been that bad!
